iPhoto file types

Ok. Talk to me like I'm a six year old, cause I just can't find the answer to this.

I'm importing files to iPhoto but they're all .tiff files. I can't figure out how to make them jpegs. Who knows the answer?

do you have photoshop?

if you do you could open them up and just save them as jpgs individualy.

or you could do a batch conversion

i am not at my main computer now so i cant give directions. but i think someone will pick up where i left of

No photoshop. New Mac. Out of money. lol

you don't need photoshop. use "export" option under iPhoto, there's an option to export as jpeg. (you can do the same using preview as well.)

I would use QuickImageCM It's a handy Contextual Menu that lets you quickly convert files to different formats. I use it all the time to convert to JPEG.
