How to transfer iPod playlists over to Mac

Hello all,

I've ran into a problem where all the music was deleted off my computer by either a software update or system update. The only backup I have is on my iPod. For some reason my Time Machine backup doesn't work either.

Now thankfully the iPod and iPhone I have has all the music and playlists of what I had.

What is a good piece of software or solution to restoring my music and playlists from the iPod?
