Hey guys. Ok so i'm on hold for 31 minutes so far with applecare.

To break it down to you guys. I had a 16 iphone. Dads phone crapped out, he wanted iphone but doesn't qualify, i know this so i upgraded my phone to 3G and gave him mine.. all is good there.

I connected my iphone 3G and ran from backup and as new phone. Synced all my apps/music/videos/podcast. Everything goes well but it says

Can not sync tips with iphone because it can not be verified. OK?!?! I bought the app from this computer. So then i tried to install it from my iphone, i get this app has been purchased before would you like to downlod it again for free? I said yes.. it appears on my screen, loads, downloading, and then i get a pop up.

"tips will be available for download when you log in to the itunes store from your computer"

what do i need to do to download this app to my iphone?.. I delete the app from my computer, retried to download it and it says i have already purchased the app and if i want to download it again for free. I say yes and then it downloads fine. BUT it will no go to my new 3g.

Could it be because it thinks its another iphone and it thinks i'm trying to scam and will not let me put it in? because i restored my old iphone and all my other free apps go in free. I try download free apps to my 3g and it goes ok.

Please help, i am STILL on hold because the girl is on the phone with another specialist to assist me with the problem.

If I read your entire post correctly, you have a phone, upgrade it to a 16GB iPhone 3G and gave it to your dad?

What's your current phone then? You're referring to a 3G in some of your post, is that your dad's that you're talking about? So you have an old iPhone and a new 16GB iPhone - which you gave to your dad?

On iTunes, you might try to sign out then sign back in on your account. Authorize your computer (it should have been authorized before I assume) then try to download the apps to the iPhone 3G.
