is this new or what?

how can 4 AA alkaline power keyboard last long if they have USB ports ?

The Apple keyboard USB ports, if memory serves, are half powered ports. Less power drawn, though Im not exactly sure why they would have that on the wireless keyboard, even if theyre half powered. AA batteries drain pretty quickly.

hmm.... after searching a bit I haven't found anything on apple's website about the wireless keyboard having USB ports. I agree that it doesn't make any sense to have USB ports on a wireless keyboard....

Edit: ok, telecomm just confirmed that there are no USB ports on the wireless keyboards. Sorry, my mistake..
