Hi there, I recently had a big problem with my lovely macbook, and the HDD had to be replaced, and i had no way to back up my files before the repair.
I had all my music and photos on a 5th Gen iPod Video, and have been able to get back the music to my HDD using TinkerTool, which is great!
However, i connected my iPod back to the computer to pull the phots off it in the same way, but before i could stop it, iPhoto synched with it, and removed all 1,500 odd photos to replace them with 8 new ones i have since added to iPhoto.
Is there any software or methods of recovering all these photos? I know it was stupid not to have backed them up previously, but I've learned my lesson now 🙁
