I have an original iPhone 2G with jailbroken 2.2 firmware.
This evening, while text messaging, my iPhone suddenly stopped making alert tones and vibrating. The tones that have stopped working include:
The tri-tone alert.
The message sent/received alert.
The keyboard clicks.
The lock/unlock sounds.
In addition, my iPhone will not vibrate unless it is receiving a call. Even the mute switch on the side will not make it vibrate.
I've tried every suggestion I could find on this forum and on Google. I've rebooted, plugged in/unplugged my headphones, reset all settings... nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have any possible solutions before I restore and re-jailbreak? Any help is much appreciated!
