aaaahh, the old 'white is for girls'. I suppose that all of the old ibooks/imac g4 and g5's, and of course most of the ipods sold in the past were for girls only.

i'd probably say that white is more likely for those who want higher storage, have more money to spend up front, or perhaps just want something...a bit different?😉
 
In photos, I think the first-gen is really great. It looks fantastic and much better than the 3G.

But the shape and feel of the 3G's plastic are much better in your hand. Holding and using one, it's a very clear improvement.
 
I'd rather have an iPhone with an aluminum back for strength alone (not necessarily because the color looks better), but I guess the 3G antenna doesn't work as well that way, so I guess it's not likely to happen.
 
I wish, not really an option, but the iPhone 3G shape with an entire aluminum back... That would look, fell and be the ultimate.

You have that backward. If a man gets a white iPhone that means he doesn't care what other people think of his sexuality (not that it matters) hence he is more comfortable with his sexuality than a guy with a black one.
 
Shape of the 3G in Carbon Fiber. 🙂

Or old aluminium case in new shape, but annodized in a rainbow of colors, red would be the cats meow.
