iPod touch iPod Touch 2G will not turn on after attempting 2.2 upgrade

Hi,

while trying to upgrade my ipod touch 2G to 2,2 I got an error 13. I have tried restarting the computer, switching usbs and a different computer. I have the latest version of itunes. The ipod will not turn on atm but it is recognized by my computer but when i try to restore it says the software upgrade could not be found and I should upgrade itunes (which it is).

Anyone have a solution?

Well good news, I left it on my computer overnight it is not showing that message anymore.

I am going to try to restore on my dad's computer because that has always got me out of jams with my old ipod touch .

If that doesn't work ill try what you said iParis, Thanks.

Got it fixed by updating on my dads computer!

Now hopefully I can restore to back up...
