New vintage iTrip is dead...
Hello all-
I just bought a Griffin iTrip for the 3rd/4th gen ipod that plugs in on top of the iPod & it has a screen & dial on the side. See attached pic. Anyways, it was new in the box off of eBay. I plug it in to my iPod Photo & the screen flashes blue for a fraction of a second & then nothing. No numbers display. Nothing. I have the iBeam laser & flashlight that both plug into the dual ports on top & those both work. I know of no one else that has a iPod I could borrow to see if the iTrip worked in that one. So, any thoughts? Is it the iPod or the iTrip that's faulty? I have contacted the seller to say its dead but I just thought I'd look for help here. Thanks. |

UPDATE:
It turns out that the iTrip just needed the iPod reset with the iTrip connected. Turns out Griffin had a support page the seller emailed me that worked great. |
