How can you tell how much an app costs in cydia? What would happen if I tried to install a commercial app in cydia, as far as I know I don't have an account. My question is can I tell if an app is free by looking at it? I don't own a credit card and am wondering how I could purchase a commercial app?

theres quite a few not free. alot of "useful" ones and some games are commercial
One app I was interested in was PdaNet. I believe it is commercial I just wondered what would happen if I tried to install it? Like would a login screen show up. I don't have a paypal account or a credit card. Is there anyway to tell if an app is comercial or free?

Version 1.40 of PdaNet is the one that has the 14 day free trial then you have to buy it. If you add the source http://iphone.org.hk/apt/ then you can download version 1.33 which is completely free.
Your not going to get charged for anything you download from Cydia unless you choose to buy it. If you download a "commercial" app, it will either be trailware or limited in function until you choose to buy it. That's it..there is nothing more to say.
