Nice video clip. (the link to it is broken, but the blog link works)

About that unused copper cookware - they got that spot on, predicting that kitchen of the future would be stuffed full of unused cooking implements.

(we try to avoid that by having almost nothing electric in our kitchen - no microwave or blenders or juicers or toasters, only a kettle and a handheld moulinex)

Nice flat screen monitors - they got that spot on. And our child chats to our gran via webcam on the macbook in the kitchen ... And she has colour coded plates too (4 year olds are into that kind of thing).

Wonder how they did the thin-bezel flatscreen effect in 1967 without FCP? Did they double expose the film and project a second film frame by frame onto the black area? I'm sure there was probably a simpler way.

Microwave ovens have certainly become commonplace and it is possible to purchase virtually any type of frozen meal. The explosion of fast food restaurants has pretty much fulfilled the notion of "disposable plates" -- though the landfills might disagree.
