Is there a program like "access" for mac?

hi i am trying to catalogue and cross reference information i get from several paper sources on my mac. i have used programs like Microsoft access before and that worked quite well but I have a ibook g4 (so no intel) and i can't find a compatible program.

the features i need this program to have are: the ability to search through lists of information for specific keywords or dates.
the ability to make lists of items with description, dates and location refrences.

thanks to anyone that makes any suggestions...

Helen

Try FileMaker Pro. There's a 30-day free trial.
