It's made me really angry. The app store is obviously more iphone based and the iphone pretty much has internet everywhere. i guarantee you that 85 % of the apps in the app store require internet.

(oh by the way, in this thread title i called the iPod Touch an "iTouch". i don't really call it that i just said that so it was a shorter title so that it would fit.)

anyways lots of big title games like Brother in Arms, Ashpalt, Monkey ball and the likes does not require internet. In fact I think most games don't need the internet at all.
 
yes i know games don't require internet. but i'm not a huge game fan. i mean other apps from the app store all pretty much require internet.

I think what you're seeing is apps trying to take advantage of all the communication capabilities of the device. But I agree with you, there is a gap where the touch users aren't being catered to.
 
i know exactly what you mean. I hate that sooo much.
