I have a macpro 2x2.66 ghz dual-core intel, 2gb 667 mhz ddr2 fb-dimm with oX 10.4.11.
I have lacie hd, this hd doesn't mount on my macpro if i plug it on any firewire 800 port of the macpro, i just have the message asking me if i want initialize it. But I don't have any problem if i plug it on firewire 400.
I was thinking the Hd fw 800 port had a problem, so I try to plug it on G5 bi processor on fw 800 to check it, but every thing was fine, nothing problem...
So I was thinking problem was FW 800 card on my macpro, but other HD 800 mount without any problem ( I try with a cheap no-brand HD).
Do somepeople know something about a specific problem between Lacie FW800 and mac pro ?
