anyone have any suggestions?
i tried mroogle but couldnt find anything
What do you mean by internal audio?
-iGrant
the audio that is played in your computer prior to going to speakers
right now, the only recording solution i can find has to use a mic as the source
imagine not having speakers hooked up to your computer but still recording audio that would be playing on your computer
For example, to digitally capture audio from a streaming radio station playing in iTunes so you can save it for later.Ok stupid question, why would you want to record the internal sounds?

EDIT: That's what I would use such software for.
Digital in is the one you want.yea i had that but the only inputs i can select are mic, line in, and digital in
Digital in is the one you want.
cool thanks you guys
Hope it works for you, I don't see why it shouldn't. I have used Audacity before, the UI is a bit clunky the last time I used it, however functionally it did exactly what I wanted to do.

hm for some reason i tried recording but when i played it back just silence
I can look on my machine when I get home, I know you can do it with Audacity but I just can't remember off the top of my head.

Use SoundFlower to route the audio from iTunes to your recorder app (like Audacity).
