Streamclip not recognizing DVD files

For whatever reason, Streamclip is not able to load the footage from this particular DVD....keeps saying "file open error: can't find video or audio tracks" so I choose "open anyway" and it then opens a white screen...if I play it the audio is there but no video. Does this for the full film and all the bonus features.

Any idea whats going on and how to get around this? I'm using PAL DVDs here but its worked before.

MPEG Streamclip isn't designed to work on DVDs with copy protection.

There's actual (really old) security camera footage in the bonus features I'd like to use in a montage project I'm working on in iMovie. Its abo 6 min total. Anyone know if there's another program that can pull that off then?

Edit: Would MTR do this? ...I know its generally used for copying discs (and bypassing copy protection) but I have no intention of copying a disc. I'm just trying to grab the one bonus clip.
