Get Tactical-Ops instead. It is just as good as Counter Strike if not better. It uses the Unreal Tournament engine to run. Visit the official site for more info. If you need help installing it go to this site.

I think that Tactical Ops is better anyway. Plus it runs in OS X. If you need help setting it up on the mac, go here:

Better than CS?

No way that tactical ops is better than counter strike, but I guess it's definately the best game macs have in that genre. I just hope some day VPC will change whatever they need to, and let us play CS!

I think that they are fairly comparable. There are definite advantages to both games. I've played both, and I would have to say that I prefer Tactical-Ops.

I prefer Tactical Ops for the simple reason that I do not have to go over to a friends house to play it.

Does anyone know of a Counterstrike / Tactical-Ops type of mod for Q3?

There are two decent ones right now for Q3

1. Navy Seals

2. Urban Terror

Enjoy,

lol. Watch out for Navy Seals though, as you are likely to get a "hunkmegs" error when you try to start/play it and it is still a little rough around the edges. If you have any problems, there is a specific section in their forums for Mac problems.
