Hi

I have had one of the new Imacs for about four or five months now and have recently bought a new Television. i was hoping that there might be some way of connecting the two together ? I can't find an hdmi port on the imac (wishful thinking) there is one connector on he back I don't recognise so I am hoping that it is a tv/monitor connector.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

The mini-DVI to DVI adapter is best gotten from Apple. DVI to HDMI cables, on the other hand, are very common - most TV/electronics suppliers sell them.

There are TV's out there that will accept video over HDMI and then audio over Stereo RCA jacks. I'd check your user manual to see if you have this on it.

Thanks

Cheers for that , think I have managed to find both on ebay for less than apple charges for the converter.

Woot!

appreciate the help guys !
