Name this vintage clothing brand/logo

My mother asked me to look up this particular vintage clothing brand, but I couldn't find anything.

It's off my grandmother's suit. Judging by the size of the suit and her size history, we think it's from the 1940's.

I think it's MarcÚ, but I'm not even sure. Any MacRumors members who are logo or clothing experts have a clue?

Thanks in advance!

Seeing as how it says Marce, I'm guessing its Marce.

Put that label in and get a bunch of vintage 50s ...

Of course here, it is a little older than the Apple I, so it is harder to help.

Might be a little late but I'll give this a shot anyway.

If you still have the item/ a picture. i could take a look at its style/cut and let you know time period. The label itself is not something that i recognize.

Also, look in the pocket/lining for a union label that may also help with dating.

Is the stitching really small and close together? It may be handmade.

I do believe Sun Baked is onto something. Note the jacket on the right.
