I just tried finding a universal thread where great artists posts great wallpapers, but I only found limited ones like "january desktop pictures". This is why I've decided to throw out a challenge on here.
Instead of simply saying "post your wallpaper", I want you all to make a new wallpaper, uniquely for this very thread. It can be photo or 3d-models. But please, don't upload easy things like pictures of clouds. Take some time and come up with a great idea. Then at the end of this year, yes in twelve months, we can have a poll about which is the best.
Please create a wallpaper that fits perfectly as an OSX background. Taking the dock and icons into consideration. I want people to make something new, so we dont get alot of old wallpapers in here. I will be making one tonight and upload it very soon.
Maybe we'll see some backgrounds that are inspired by recent events, but with a partly education in graphical design, I think that people on the wallpapers are a taboo, unless it's only partially, like a female butt or something like that. Not encouraging porn here, but just please... no family pictures lol. Full people from top to toe just require too much attention. Thats my only advice.
I hope some photoshoplovers steps up and takes the challenge. Hopefully you know how to make a Mac look good, and hopefully this will generate some new awesome backgrounds for us Mac-users, to use in the new year. And of course, upload it in fullsize to this thread so other people can use it.
