Hi,

I'm finding that the Date Modified setting of files in Panther doesn't refresh quick enough - ie I can update a file from an application, but it takes a while for its Date Modified to change in the Finder. This is hugely frustrating, as I tend to have my folders listed in this way with the new items on top.

Is there a way to force the OS to update this quicker?

If I select a file, it will instantly update the Date Modified, but it doesn't work with a batch of them.
