Macworld 2009 Keynote Stream Available

Apple has posted the QuickTime video stream of today's Macworld Expo keynote by Phil Schiller. Apple made a number of announcements at today's event:

- Apple Releases Aluminum Unibody 17" MacBook Pro
- Apple Announces Changes to iTunes Stores: DRM Free, Variable Pricing
- Apple Releases iWork '09
- Apple Announces iLife '09

All of these announcements had been the subject of pre-event rumors, although several expected releases, including new Mac minis and iMacs, did not come to fruition. We will post a full rumor wrap-up in the next few days.

I will probably watch bits of the keynote but I am actually interested most in the Tony Bennett ending, and yep its part of the steam.

Things missing.

Info on Snow Leopard - like estimated release date.
Blu-Ray support in Snow Leopard?
Other new hardware - iPhone Nano, iMac, mac mini
Updated iWeb (more than they did), iDVD?

Really I'm mostly interested in what is going to happen regarding Blu-Ray support.

What the heck happened with all those rumors "Mac mini with support for dual displays, & iPhone nano? This really was crapworld 09"

Now we know why Steve didn't want to give the keynote. He didn't want all the disappointed iMac & Mini fans to direct their collective anger at him. He threw Phil under the bus on this one.

*yawn*

Instead of new stuff, perhaps they could finally deliver on stuff they've already promised nearly a year ago: like real push services for the iPhone ...

Has there ever been any more information about that? Or are they hoping no one noticed?

Apple believes Blu-Ray is dead (or going to be dead soon), they are pushing streaming content over AppleTv.

Great, I'll fire this up right now and have a watch. I wonder if the hardware updates (iMac, Mac mini etc) will be released in the next few weeks - Apple has done that before...

Is everyone seriously getting the right conference?
I've tried everything and no matter what I do, it shows me the Macbook release.

Any ideas?

Keynote videos

I've been following the Mac community since before the 2.5GHz G5 came out. Have been an avid Mac fan since. Honestly, I know my way around the hardware & software of a Mac.

Not once have I got one of these freaking streams to display!!

Is there some readme I'm missing out on? Is it sheer numbers stressing the servers?
