Can't get past the grey screen and spinning gear!

imac g3 can't get beyond the spinning gear. tried the osx repair no go..tried cntrl opt pr no go..tried soft boot same result. Any suggestions??🙁
 
Hmmm sounds like your hard drive failed but a good option is go to an apple store and have apple genius look at it...
