Good brand ram?

Just wondering if anyone knew of Power Silicon brand for ram?

I found a good deal locally for 20$ for some PC5300 SODIMM, 2x1gb sticks of power silicon ram it would be for my blackbook that currently has 1 gb.

And would it work in the blackbook?
 
thanks for the website i already had read through that, but i couldnt find anything relating to Power Silicon..

and cheap doesnt necessarily mean it wont work either, so im wondering more on experience base.

I say ignore Power Silicon and buy from someone on rdowns' page.
 
A 2 GB kit at Crucial is 26 bucks. They guarantee compatibility and offer a lifetime warranty. Does Power Silicon, whoever they are?
 
Another +1 for Crucial. Fitted 2 x 2GB to my new MacBook this morning, been running all day with no problems

A lot of people swear by OWC too. They have low prices, and very good warranties, and guarantee Mac compatibility. They will even buy your RAM that you are replacing.

OWC has a very nice website and sweet prices, but too bad the shipping costs almost as much if not more than the ram..

ram - 24$
shipping - 25$
total - 49$

Im located in Canada so some of these sites really kill on the shipping thats why im looking locally.
 
I have two sticks of 2GB Crucial in my MacBook, never had any problems! And the delivery time was excellent, got them two days after my order, and since I live in Denmark they came by international air mail, so two days is as fast as they can do... 🙂
 
I ordered at crucial.com at 2pm on Wed(1/14). I chose free shipping and the status is still "ready to ship" at 2pm on Fri(1/16). I think it's too slow even if free shipping. If I paid $4 more, it'd have been shipped on 1/15?

I was wondering when it'll be shipped and delivered to LA, CA. Please let me know your experience.
