Anyone know if the original BB iMac has an internal HD maximum size limit?

Probably 137GB like the rest of them. However, if you want to install OS X you need to make an 8GB partition for it.

Don't forget to update the firmware in OS 9 prior to going to OS X.

Bondi Blue iMac

You have to partition your HD. When I went to a 40 GB drive for my bondi, I had to create a 4 GB start up drive (installed OS 9) and a 36 GB 'other' drive.
