i personally think they should revise the system. make it more reliant to the new processors/models etc.

Or what if you never owned a mac, but you're on here because you have iPods/iPhones/Apple T.V.

And then once you become to the "Mac enthusiast" level, but you don't have a mac....

All of those would be excellent methods for arn and friends to find more contributors; I would hate to have something so horrible beneath my username.
 
ya i know my names are kinda lame, but i want something more relavent and easier to understand then a 68500 or something.

Why does it really matter? Nobody even pays attention to those titles unless they're a) looking for a moderator, or b) are getting ready/just advanced.
 
I think it's fine the way it is. Some people may be a little confused, but it's basically history. Can't forget about what made Apple what it is.
