Visio + VMware Fusion 2

Does it run ok on a new aluminum macbook? My fiance needs it for school so I wanted to make sure it ran fine before I bought VMware Fusion 2.

Yes. It works fine.

It even works in CrossOver, which is based on Darwine, so it might work without Fusion.
