Are there any mods for WoW that enable you to fast / map travel?

Say if i'm in (Insert WoW place name here) and want to travel to (Insert WoW place name here) but the 2 places are on opposite sides of the game world.
Are their any mods that let you teleport from one place to the other?
Like the Guild Wars map.

I don't know of any such tools, but if there are any they would be against Blizzard's Terms of Service, which they are very aggressive about enforcing. You could have your account frozen or cancelled. You can go anywhere on one continent with a single ride, it's only boats/portals you need to manually do.
 
The other two posters are right, any mod that let you instant travel is against the rules.

But do you really need it? I was in Dalaran on Sunday and a guildmate in Un'Goro needed a hand killing that fire elemental that lives in the volcano in the centre of the zone. I ported to Darnassus, hopped a gryphon and was there in about 7 minutes. 7 minutes to go just about as far as you can possibly travel in the game. That doesn't seem unreasonable.

Yeah, portals. Ask a high-level warlock.

Set your hearthstone to the place you usually want to get to quickly. When you are far away, use the hearthstone.

Find gryphon paths as far as you can, yeah it takes some time, but with a mount not so much. You can ride a gryphon to a port, take a boat and go to another continent in a few minutes usually.

A friend I played with always would up on the opposite side the of world when I got on so I had to travel a lot to catch up with her.

Right now i have my hearthstone set to Stormwind, but am usually up around Arathi highlands or Southshore these days.
 
Picking up on the last poster - the best strategy for easing your ability to move around is usually to beg or buy yourself a portal to Dalaran from some mage (on my server there is usually someone hanging around in Stormwind or Ogrimmar selling portals to Dal for 5-15g). Once there set your hearthstone in an inn there and then never change it. There are free portals from Dal to every major city so once an hour you can hearth to Dal and then port to the nearest city to your ultimate destination and then catch a flyer from there.
