Auto on when plug in headset?

Hi, my 3g fw 2.2 used to wake up from sleep to lockscreen when I plug in the headset. Today it stopped doing that, the screen remains black. I restarted but hes still black.
Any ideas?

Restore. It sounds like a setting somewhere but I don't know where it is located. I don't think you can change this setting in the Settings app so a restore should fix it.

Everything works perfectly fine, so all I'm wondering is why did the behavior change?

Auto on when headphones plugged in

On occasion (and I haven't figured out the pattern) my iPhone starts playing music when I plug the headphones in. 😕
