SOS-ibook won't reboot after update restart!!!

I have a Apple Ibook g3 2001. Recently after a run of the mill update of Security, Acrobat, and Itunes I restarted the laptop. The Apple and Wheel have been the only thing I have seen ever since. I did the command-s thing to get into single-view mode, and I can't type commands, or anything.
