macOS Interface Builder wont show windows when i "maximize"

Hello. I am currently using Interface Building in XCode. I created a window object and when I click the maximize button, the window completely disappears. I have no clue how to get it back, I've tried closing it then reopening but its still saved as being maximized.

Any idea what is wrong here and/or how I can fix this.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem. I can't figure out how to get my window back!

Are you using IB 2.x? I don't have a maximize button in v3. You could probably mess with the IB file in a text editor and figure out which value to change (if you're using the v3 format). Otherwise I'd just recreate the nib, and upgrade Xcode to the latest version that is supported on your OS.
