Hello all. I just finished putting up some Benchmarks of Windows 7 using the latest builds of Parallels, Fusion and VirtualBox with both x86 and x64 based images on various Macs. More results coming soon.

Whoa. Wasn't expecting VMware Fusion to demolish Parallels like that. Also, where are the VirtualBox numbers? I didn't see them anywhere.

There are results for Virtualbox as the third link in the Laptop results. I just started messing with VirtualBox yesterday after the latest build came out. But the results for x86 on my Laptop were pretty disappointing. I'll be trying with a x64 image shortly, then those images on the Mac Pros.

Just added a new VM test on my Mac Pro using a RAID arrary to host the images, by far the fastest disk perf possible. Hopefully I'll get a handful of new results up today.

Thanks - that's really interesting! Windows 7 looks quite good indeed.
