Looking for a 1920x1200 Monitor

Im looking for a 1920x1200 Monitor, was looking at the HP 25.5" Monitor, as its got the USB Ports and Card Reader, which would be useful, but too much 🙁

But Pretty much any Monitor with around that Res Minimum, DVI is a must, HDMI and speakers would be nice, but not a must have. The Nicer Side of £400, the further down the better 😛 Apple Tech doesnt leave much cash lol.
 
I would opt for the DELL 2408WFP

EXCELLENT monitor, loaded with features and has a GREAT panel.

Dell has sales often and you should be able to pick one up for about $500 US
 
Looks Very good, cant find a price, but impressive specs, USB Connectors, looks nice, Swivels to Portrait, could be a winner....

Do you own a Mac? If you do, does the Portrait Auto switch work? and is the software PC/Mac, or PC only?

eBay if you are up to it. And like I said it goes on sale a lot.

It costs more because of the features it is loaded with, but more importantly it doesnt have one of those garbage TN panels you find in most LCD's

Sadly the Uk rarely gets the Deals the US Does 🙁 But will keep on the look out.

I bought my Dell 2407WFP off eBay a while ago from this seller:

Infact it was in Feb 07 and they're still selling various Dell monitors. They're very fast, all 100% legit, and a great service to deal with. They have a 0 dead-pixel policy, though I didn't use it as I got a perfect monitor. They even guaranteed me the A04 revision monitor at the time, which came with 1:1 pixel display - if buying from Dell direct, it would have been a lottery and I could have ended up the the previous A03 revision. It's one of my little secrets, but I'd thought I share 😉

Your 2408WFP A01 revision is going for £415 with free (or included depending on how you look at it) delivery.

Or you can save money and go for the E248WFP. Still 24", 1920x1200 res, with DVI-D with HDCP (so you can use a HDMI to DVI-D cable for video). Like my 2407 or the 2408 minus the extra ports. Goes for only £245 with delivery.

Thanks for the links, i've kind of set my self on the 2408WFP because of the many Inputs, 4 USB's and a Card Reader, which would be rather useful for my MacBook Pro! And even £415 seems a tad much 🙁 But it does seem to be an amazing monitor! Just wondering if there is news of the 2409WFP (Guessing the name, as thats the pattern so far) And what it could add.

I'll be making a thread with a list of the items im looking to buy, to make sure i can get the most bang for buck. Also i wont be purchasing until around July this year anyway, just making sure, as its going to be quite a hefty amount of cash!

The only feature I can think of them adding in the future would be a LED panel instead of CCFL. (Like the ACD 24" they just came out with).

As far as ports go, this thing that thing is loaded. It has every input imaginable including HDMI and DisplayPort which will replace DVI in the future.
