Loose PB Battery

Anyone have any idea what might have caused this?

It hangs like this almost whenever I pick it up and I have to firmly tap it back in place to get it to stay. Even then it doesn't always last very long.

Mine got loose after a month or two. All I had to do was pop it out and put it back in. I hope it's the same (simple) issue.

it's possible one of the metal clips came loose. just try taking apart the battery cover from the battery and putting them all back together. it's not very complicated, it's just a battery housing, afterall. it's not "rocket science"...

I have the exact same issue with my 12" PB. The Apple store says it's a known issue, and the 'genius' I spoke with said there is no known fix. He said I could bring it in, but it would probably be a 3 week turnaround as it was an off site repair. So I guess there is a fix? I don't get it.

Has anyone resolved this with satisfaction yet?
