Can't Right Click in Windows 7 ugh

So I'm not able to right click in any method I've tried. I installed the Windows 7 Build 7000 64 iso file. I'm using the unibody aluminum Macbook 2gig. This is my first Mac so please forgive me if I'm being an idiot.

I installed the BootCamp64 from the OS X DVD without a problem but since I can't right click I wasn't able to install it as an admin. I also downloaded the newest version from apple directly. I tried following everything in this link : http://cultofmac.com/howto-windows-7...afternoon/7184

I can't use the two finger method as that just acts like a single finger. I can't use the control-click option as that does nothing. I've tried Shift-F10 and that does nothing. I even found a program written 3 years ago, http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...60527210508277 this let me do the control-click but I can't get the optino to run anything as an admin so it isn't a fully functional right click.

Does anyone have a clue what I've done wrong? Oh and I am able to use a two finger movement on the trackpad to scroll up and down, so that part of the track pad is working after the boot camp64 ran. I'm also able to use all of the function keys.

I dont have the unibody so i cant help much but you could try to designate an area for right click

The problem is solved if you attach a regular mouse by the way.

Where is that does, in the mouse settings? (I'd check it out myself but Parallel's is currently setting up the boot camp install so I can do both a virtual and boot camp).

I'd be fine with having a certain area be desginated as the double click zone. And yeah attaching a mouse would work, but that doesn't help where I'd be most of the time.

You maybe should not be using a Beta OS for which no Apple drivers are supplied yet when you are not able to deal with its culprits. It is possible to get full trackpack support on Windows 7 (I'm using it myself), but it's not plug & play. So better stay away until it's finished unless you feel able to find your own workaround solutions from time to time or live with disadvantages.

Besides, you can double-click without trackpad drivers by pressing the trackpad with three fingers. Once the trackpad drivers is installed you cannot do that anymore but on the other hand you can use two-finger-rightclick.

There seem to be different ways of making the Boot Camp drivers install completely on W7-64. All include messing with INF Editors. One way that worked for me was to completely remove the "Launch Condition" entry of the INF plus changing all single Apple driver installation files to Vista compatibility mode via properties.

Have you tried clicking the trackpad with 3 fingers?

Three fingers click is a double-click on my unibody Macbook Pro when Apple's drivers are not installed. Whatever, once the drivers are installed properly you can use the Boot Camp settings application to change the behavior of two-finger-click.

Just a thought - do you have an anti-virus program running?

disable it and then try to install bootcamp, Kaspersky has prevented me from installing/opening certain applications without telling me.

Sorry for dragging up an old thread, but is there any solution to enable two-finger tap in Windows 7 by now? I can only get a right click by clicking trackpad button while keeping two fingers on trackpad. Checking two finger secondary click in Boot Camp Control Panel doesn't work.

Like I said before. It already worked for me once all drivers ran properly.

When in Windows 7, open control panel and go into Bootcamp. In here you will have options, such as the ability to activate the right click area on the touchpad.
