iPod dock, has this effected you?

Anyone use a dock not realizing that if they are using the HD and pull the iPod off the dock, you're bound to screw something up. A locking mechanism would be nice eh? Or is this just me with a faulty iPod dock.
 
It does flash the "Do not disconnect message"

While you won't be able to do physical damage, you may wreck a file or two.
 
Very Few people forget theat the iPod is a mounted Drive. Anyway it is not that big of a deal if you disconnect it by accident.
