No Service

Guys,
I have a 3g iPhone that is jailbroken and unlocked using Yellowsn0w, it works great except whenever I loose my signal it cant get it back unless I reboot my phone, I have tried switching on airplane mode and back off but i get searching for about one minute and then back to No Service, if I then reboot at that time everything comes back to normal but it is a pain in the ass having to reboot all the time also I get sh*t from my wife as she thinks I am messing around and switching my phone off.

I did and she hung the phone up, but it didn't stop my fhone showing No Service"
