Will Apple be releasing new macbooks?

Hi..
I will be bying the new Macbook soon (13.3), but someone told me that Apple will be releasing new macbooks, is this true?
And when?

Highly unlikely, the aluminum MB's were just released in October.

I'd say we'll see new spec Macbooks with a hardware refresh either sometime late this year or early 2010. I'd say early 2010 would be more likely to shift old stock at the holiday season. It'll probably be reasonably minor; my bet will be to dump the white Macbook altogether, retain the 2.0GHz aluminium model as the base and have 2x2.5/2.6GHz models higher end. In terms of a visual refresh, I'd say a good 2/3 years. Buy now.

They were just released (pretty much) but not a lot is going to happen with the standard MacBooks in the near future. Buy now.

If you mean the white macbook, they were just refreshed with new specs a few weeks ago.

Else Yes apple will make new macbooks sometime, but not likely in the near future.

Highly unlikely. Apple is more prone to release new MacBooks sometime after May 2009 at the earliest.

... Apple is never ever going to release another new computer. All hardware is going to remain the same. No upgrades, no updates, nothing... they're just gonna start selling iPhonies, a boutique line of hair products for teenage girls and Hanna Montana dolls that play the Mac startup chime.

Well obviously, computer technology is always advancing... Though dont expect them to update any time soon. The macbooks were last updated in oct.

in 2 or 3 months from now, like always, it's a consumer product and it's to be updated more often than others.
