I couldn't agree more. Distinct, powerful, mobile.

My Mac is my favourite Mac.

I think there is something to be said about the Cube. A nice little machine, with room for upgrades. Reasonable priced to day, I'd be all over it!

The Mini is also an impressive computer!


Edit- The iMac G5 has a place in my heart, my first Mac(on my own), I always loved friends asking "where's the tower?"

Couldn't really pick just one. But I would say it's a toss up between the original (clamshell) iBook G3, or the iMac G5/(White) iMac Intel.

To bad it costs a lot more, and wouldn't be more useful. It just looks good

Mine as well. The ad campaign they came up with was clever too.

The white MacBook. Just so clean and drop dead gorgeous for a computer.

Personally, the iMac G4. Not sure why, it just seems to me as if it has a little bit of character.

Never gave me any trouble, beyond the normal / expected instability of Mac OS at the time. And back then, high-performance Macs were actually better in many ways to get a fairly broad range of stuff done.

I cannot get around my first portable, the Powerbook G3, aka Pismo:



It was a gorgeous machine with excellent performance (for its day), and from that point I never wanted a desktop (for personal use) ever again.

I've had an iBook G4 and MacBook Core Duo since, both doing their job flawlessly, but I still have nostalgic feelings about the Pismos.

It might have a strong competitor soon, though, as I'm planning to replace the MacBook with a 15" MacBook Pro 2.8 very soon...and I suspect that might be my new all time favourite...

The current iMac and the current 17" Macbook Pro (bezel to thick on the 13" and 15").

The iMac G4 is also very beautiful (did not like the G5 or white Intel). The old Macbook Pro is also very nice. And how could I forget the Mac Pro, also very beautiful.

Mac Pro, hands down, it is a killer machine.

I agree that that one's a pretty close second. I never owned one myself, but the design is completely unique and unmistakable... It's got to be my second-favourite Mac creation.

I have to second the vote for the Pismo.

Classic lines. Great connectivity. Dual battery bays. Upgradeable processor.

Of course, in today's world it's an outclassed machine - but at the time it was awesome.

Mine still works perfectly 9 years later...
