Just received my new 17" MBP, 2 day eariler..

just got it this morning. here is 2 pic.

It is base model, I am in NY

I think the sight of the MBP arriving will cause the thread starter to have selective vision. The MBP is too dazzling.

Congrats. You have the first one it seems. It is like owning the first corvette.

How is the sound with the built in speakers?

I'm also interested in the run time on the battery. Start iTunes and run it until it quits with a visualizer--time that!

That's how I understood it and it makes sense since it's glass and he was comparing it to the previous gen, not the 15" unibody.
