IPhone 3G and 2G Chargers interchangeable?

Hello all,

I was wondering if IPhone 2G and 3G chargers are interchangeable?

I'm in Canada - so we've only ever had the IPhone 3G, I bought a car charger from my wireless carrier here in Canada (ROGERS), but it doesn't say IPhone 3G, instead, it just says "IPod or IPhone."

I just wanted to make sure that they are in-fact interchangeable...
 
Indeed they should be....most things that fit into the dock connector will work..although a few old things won't(my Bose dock doesn't charge my 3G)
