i just bought a powerbook 12" g4 yesterday in boston but i have one problem! when i tried to load a uk dvd the message came up warning me to select a dvd region and saying that i could only change it four times.. my girlfriend has an ibm thinkpad and is able to play dvds from the uk and the us... is there anyway you can over-ride this problem? i spend half my time in the states and half my time in the uk so it's kinda important...

any help for a first time apple user would be much appreciated! the pcs are calling...!

I think VLC can play DVDs of any zone without changing any options, but I'm not certain. Can someone confirm this?

VLC (VideoLAN Client) is a free application that plays almost every video format, including DVDs. Click on the link in my last post to download it.
