I want to test my MBPU since a few have been having issues and I suspect I am having the same. The only problem is that it won’t show up under normal use and only when the GPU is somewhat taxed.

Does anyone know of an application that can stress test a GPU on a 17” MBPU? Something that runs on a mac and not windows? I looked around and found nothing that runs on a mac, all of them are made for windows users and I won’t allow windows to come near my machine.:D

What about a video intense screen saver? Is there any graphically intense screen saver that can stress the graphics chip enough so the problem can be reproduced for Apple? Something that works on a mac.

Anything at all would help. Thanks

you could run a screensaver as your desktop background with onyx, that's pretty intensive after a while.
