Will upgrading the Mac Mini HD and RAM void the warranty?

I mean upgrading myself to save cost.

Also, is it possible to put a SSD drive into a Mac Mini?

to save a few bucks ... since i don't need the larger HD just the RAM

and thinking to put in a SSD

Because the Mac Mini is designed so differently, it'll void the warranty if you even open it up. You'd have to have an authorized Apple Service Provider do it for you.

That's sad to hear and it means i have to pay the high price from Apple and get something I don't need
