Subject: 9.2 iBook. Need printer.

I have an old..10 years?..iBook. OS 9.2. Still great, I use it for word processing. Any printer available to connect?

you probably do better on www.lowendmac.com to find answers to your questions regarding machines that old.

they are THE site for old machines (they're also the first ones who would tell you NOT to upgrade)

Does it have USB, or are you talking about needing a serial printer?

all ibooks have USB. even the first clamshell ones had usb.

I joined the Mac side when Tiger just came out, so i don't know much about OS 9, but i do know that the "sweet spot" for clamshell ibooks in terms of modern OS is 10.3 (panther)

maybe the best you can hope for is convert things to pdf and then print it on a different computer.

If that's the case then lots of USB printers are supported under OS 9. Epson (Stylus) and HP (LaserJet) are two of the big names. You can check their Support & Downloads pages to see which models have OS 9 drivers.
