It is! It's a "true color" image. The only enhancement they did was to brighten the 3 moons for better visibility.

What amazes me the most is the sheer scale of that planet. The shadow it is casting on its rings is enormous. Of course, the low temperatures are also going to be spectacularly low in that shadow.

I prefer it like this. You get more of an idea of the inclination of its (hers?) rotation axis.

I want one of those! If they are selling pieces of land on the moon, can I have some of Saturn? Anybody wanna split it with me?

Well, since Saturn is a gas giant, there really isn't any real estate there, to speak of..... you'd be better off on Titan - get great views too

Imagine Saturn on the horizon.....

Do you want to take Mr. Anderson's suggestion about Titan? Then if you decided on the Moon or Titan, I would split.

It looks like clay being spun on a potters wheel. Wow, I'd love an image HQ enough to go on my desktop!

Check around, many of the images (if you click on them) are huge, such as the "Columbia Station" image (1.4 MB +).

You'll probably find a number of cool images you've seen elsewhere, only the archive explains them and usually offers good sizes.
