last i heard it was in testing phases. It cant be too far away if AT&T issued a network update to include support for it.

it been released out to few test markets for testing but the national debut will happen sometime in the second half of 2009.
as of right now it will be a subscription based type of service where you would have to purchase the equipment then pay monthly fee. There will be couple different pricing plan.
I cant say much more but its very promising product.
