Going to buy a new macbook tomorrow i need advice on what to do?

ok so tomorros im going to get the new alum base model macbook. 😀
is it a good time ok should i wait for the update?
ok so when i get it i heard that i sholdn't use untill hit has one full charge is that true? or can i use it while it charges? any other advice will be helpfull?
what programs should i download?
 
1. You are about mid-product cycle.
2. You can use it while it charges. (It is good to put it through a few full charges/discharges though at first)
