Uh. Nope. Highly unlikely given that Apple decided to remove it from the current version (firewire was available on the older versions).
The consensus is that Apple is moving away from Firewire to only use USB on the consumer MacBook. There are agruments that firewire is becoming an obsolete technology. Some say they don't need it others say they can't live wthout it. Most newer consumer electronic devices such as camcorders and portable hard drives are using USB these days.
