Major App Store updating problems!
As a developer, I am getting really upset about this problem....
Has anyone else noticed that the sort by "Release Date" on all categories hasn't been updated on the App Store on their iPhone? For example, mine is showing the same apps day after day, with nothing new. Even new apps that I submit and get approved aren't showing up on the list! It's causing significant financial damage to my business right now. Is Apple aware of this? If you are also seeing this, please reply. |

Yep, it seems to be broken. Not sure what the deal is.. looks like it has been this way for a while now too.

You'll see other complaints for this problem: http://www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/ip...thread-30.html http://www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/bu...f-again-2.html http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=670295 http://forums.macrumors.com/showthre...=658029&page=3 http://forums.appleinsider.com/showthread.php?p=1392232 There was also a huge thread about this on the iPhone Dev SDK forums but those are down right now since the 3.0 release (http://devforums.apple.com/) Ethan |

Am I the only one that isn't apoplectic about this? Yeah, it should be fixed but it's not exactly the end of the world.

Eh, I'm pretty annoyed by it. If you launch a new app you are going to miss out on a bit of exposure with it not appearing on the iPhone app store.

Maybe it's because it didn't make a huge amount of difference to me in terms of sales when I released my app. It's done pretty much the same amount of business since launch except on day one when sales were about 4x what they settled down to be. I suppose for other people the effect is more pronounced.

This seems to be fixed now... although the iTunes listing has been about a day or two behind lately.
